Village Roadshow, the largest multiplex cinema network in Greece, has selected OPTISHIFT for the optimal scheduling of its employees.

In order to best meet its highly dynamic operational requirements and ensure the optimal level of service for visitors at its cinemas, Village chose the specialized functionality of automatic scheduling through Optimization. Specifically, OPTISHIFT receives the constantly changing half-hourly staffing requirements and then proposes the optimal shift schedule based on those requirements for each of the cinema’s departments, while satisfying constraints from labor legislation, employees’ personal preferences and skills, as well as any applicable company practices.
